Gene Slottow



H. Gene Slottow received his B.S in physics from the University of Chicago, IL a M.S in electrical engineering from John Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD and his PhD in electrical engineering from Illinois. He took a position as an associate professor in 1968, he received the Frances Rice Darne Memorial Award from the Society for information Display in 1973. He would be elected as a fellow to the Society for information Display in 1975 for his involvement in display technology. He is known for his collaborative work on the plasma display with Donald Blitzer and Robert Willson.
